Parents are welcome to visit any time. Development and implementation of a sound program for children is best accomplished with support and participation of parents. The center considers involvement to be an integral part of their program. Parent/teacher conferences are held twice a year, in late fall and spring. Impromptu meetings are held any time parents request one, and can be arranged through our teachers.
Learning in young children is the result of interaction between the child's thoughts and experiences with materials, ideas and people. We believe that these experiences should match the child's developing abilities, while also challenging the child's interest and understanding.
We are committed to teach the children the value of academic skills and so apply those skills to problem solving. A good balance of child centered and content centered curriculum is taught so as to take optimum advantage of the child's natural abilities, interest and enthusiasm for learning. Positive verbal rewards and "YOU CAN DO IT" attitude are parts of the teaching philosphy.
